EEO Complaint Specialist

Position Overview This position is located in the General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Civil Rights (OCR), Complaint Processing Branch (CPB). The incumbent serves as an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist responsible for managing discrimination complaints from initial intake through final resolution, including counseling, acceptance/dismissal determinations, and oversight of contract investigations. We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Key Responsibilities Manage discrimination complaints from initial intake through final resolution. Provide counseling, determine acceptance or dismissal, and oversee contract investigations. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. Locality pay will be determined upon selection. Qualifications To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience must include: Conducting EEO complaint processing activities, including pre‑complaint counseling, fact finding, and providing technical advice regarding the EEO complaint process. Processing formal EEO complaints. Reviewing investigative plans and reports for regulatory compliance. Developing and delivering training on complaint processes and procedures.
