Job Title: Grinder/Deburrer ($25/hour)

Job Description

The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence and methods for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products. It includes performing all deburring operations and removing burrs and sharp edges using various hand tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
• Determine the sequence and methods for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
• Perform all deburring operations.
• Strip remaining maskant and silastic from finished chem mill parts.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges using various hand tools and materials such as files and edge breakers.
• Smooth edges and remove build-ups with air or electric equipment using abrasive disks and sleeves.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic aerospace production and machine shop environment. The facility in Gardena focuses on aerostructure, working on fuselage sections and wings for major aircraft models such as the Airbus A220/A320 and Boeing 737/787.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gardena, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Gardena,CA.
