Academic Physician - MD/DO - Gastroenterologist

Job Description Saint Louis University and SSM Health SLUCare Physician Group are seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative and growing program in St. Louis, Missouri. This hybrid position blends community-based clinical practice with opportunities to participate in academic medicine, including optional teaching and education.

The role is well-suited for physicians interested in high-quality patient care while contributing to the academic mission of a respected university-based program.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive general gastroenterology care in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across SSM Health and Saint Louis University
• Participate in teaching and educational activities, as desired
• Support quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri
• Open to fellowship graduates and experienced physicians
