Academic Physician - MD/DO - Pediatric Medical Genetics

Position Summary SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking Clinical Geneticist positions within the Division of Medical Genetics of the Department of Pediatrics. Appointments will be at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications and experience. Candidates must have ABMG active candidate status or certification as a Clinical Geneticist or Biochemical Geneticist. Responsibilities Participation in clinical care. Medical education at both didactic and clinical settings for medical students and post-graduate levels. Administrative duties. Active involvement in clinical and molecular genetics research projects. Utilization of comprehensive cytogenetics, molecular genetics, and biochemical genetics diagnostic laboratories on site. Qualifications ABMG active candidate status or certification as a Clinical Geneticist or Biochemical Geneticist. Interest in academic and scholarly achievement in clinical genetics. SLUCare physicians educate the next generation of healthcare professionals at SSM Health St. Louis.
