Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role supporting students across multiple campuses for the full school year. This contract position is conveniently located near Elgin, IL and offers your choice of either a full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week) schedule suited to your availability.

You’ll collaborate with another SLP to provide essential assessment and therapy services, serving an engaging and diverse caseload that spans elementary and middle school levels. Your role will be entirely onsite, providing valuable face-to-face interaction and intervention with students who need your expertise.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state
• Compliance with all district or state-specific requirements for school-based providers
• Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred, though not required
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students
• Cooperate and share caseload management with another SLP within the building
• Complete required evaluations, IEP documentation, and progress reports
• Engage with students, staff, and families to support student success
• Consistently participate in onsite team meetings and school functions
