How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver Registered Nurse patient care by providing direct patient care in accordance with clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes Coordinate care as a Registered Nurse by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support seamless care coordination and effective patient-centered outcomes Perform accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure compliance, support continuity of care, and drive quality improvement Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and effective ongoing patient care What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted) Neonatal Resuscitation credential from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required Specialty certification in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred Education Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required What additional preferences we're seeking 1 year RN NICU experience in a Level 3 or 4 hospital preferred Ascension provides Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to all associates and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions, lactation, breastfeeding, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, all as defined by applicable law, and any other legally protected status or characteristic in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
