Job description: Job Summary
Seeking detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technicians to support our client's production needs. These electrical assembly positions involve assembling electrical components and hardware on printed circuit boards.
Duties
- Assemble small electronic components onto circuit boards and related assemblies.
- Perform light mechanical assembly tasks related to connectors, and mounting of subassemblies.
- Use hand tools - pliers, wire cutters, screw drivers, torque wrenches, etc.
- Inspect work for quality and compliance with workmanship standards and engineering requirements.
- Follow instructions using visual aids
- Follow proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
- 3 months or more of experience in electrical assembly, cable/wire harness fabrication, or related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and change notices in English.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Experience working with small, delicate items in a fast paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail, workmanship, and quality.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate a Windows PC
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
