What You'll Do
As an Accounting Assistant, you'll support daily financial operations and help keep our records accurate and up-to-date. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Enter and process invoices and financial data with accuracy
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Support general bookkeeping and data entry tasks
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team members regarding invoices and payments
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed
- Take on additional accounting-related tasks and projects as you grow in the role
We're seeking someone reliable, detail-focused, and ready to learn. Ideal candidates will have:
- High school diploma (required)
- Some exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration (preferred but not required)
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts (helpful, but we can train the right person)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Great entry point into accounting with real-world experience
- Opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment
