Part-Time Paralegal

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Paralegal for a confidential legal and professional services client. This is a part-time, temp-to-hire opportunity that is 100% onsite in the North Seattle metropolitan area.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support within a fast-paced professional office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating organized systems, managing confidential legal documentation, and supporting day-to-day legal operations with accuracy and professionalism. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare legal correspondence, documentation, and other case-related materials while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Organize and maintain paper and electronic legal filing systems, records, and documentation.
• Track legal deadlines, coordinate calendars, and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other administrative documents using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Conduct legal research and support ongoing legal projects as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and external partners while providing general administrative support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a Paralegal with strong legal document preparation and records management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience using Apple/macOS systems.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and document management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience supporting legal professionals in a law firm or professional services environment is highly preferred.
