Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Cardiac Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM /n• On-call requirement: 1-2 weekends per month /n• Work 8-10 days per month /n• No floating required between locations /n• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required /n• BLS Certification from AHA required /n• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing required /n• Provide direct patient care in cardiac catheterization lab setting /n• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities /n• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans /n• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures /n• Participate in patient education and discharge planning /n• Coordinate team assignments and delegate unit work appropriately /n• Maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served /n• Demonstrate effective communication strategies and professional attitude /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a comprehensive regional medical center that provides advanced cardiac services including a specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory.
