Sigma Core Medical Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Medical Front Desk & Patient Coordinator to join our growing integrative healthcare practice.

This position will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing new-patient intake, scheduling appointments, answering phones, maintaining accurate patient information, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the front office.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy healthcare environment. Previous medical office or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out
• Complete and process new-patient paperwork
• Enter and update patient information in the EMR system
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer phones and respond to patient questions
• Collect patient payments as needed
• Maintain organized patient records
• Assist with general administrative and clerical duties
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to support patient flow
• Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming front-office environment
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality
• Perform other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional, friendly, and dependable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers and learning EMR software
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with medical or chiropractic offices is a plus

Compensation: $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Richmond, VA

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
