Director of Residential Services - Position Summary

Schedule: Full Time; includes on-call responsibilities, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay: $29.30 - $36.20/hr.
Location: Broome County, NY

Position Overview : The Director of Residential Services provides leadership and operational oversight for residential programs, ensuring high-quality services, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for individuals served.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned residential programs.
• Ensure compliance with NYS OPWDD, Medicaid, and agency requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise management staff.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce.
• Monitor program quality, service delivery, and financial performance.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and residential service planning.
• Build positive relationships with individuals served, families, staff, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation, billing, and recordkeeping practices.
• Conduct audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Respond to incidents, safety concerns, and compliance matters.
• Participate in on-call leadership coverage and agency initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's Degree and three (3) years of administrative or supervisory experience or Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of administrative or supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
