Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity at Sentara CarePlex Hospital

Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Oncology Unit in Hampton, VA. The work shift is first (days) with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The position offers a $15K sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. New grads are welcomed with additional incentives.

The primary duties of this position include assessing and admitting patients, giving medications, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. The team at Sentara works together to ensure the best care for patients.

Requirements include a Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing, Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire, and an RN degree at the associate's, bachelor's, diploma, or master's level.

The Medical Oncology Unit at Sentara CarePlex specializes in Solid Tumor Oncology, Hematology Oncology, and Surgical Oncology. As an RN on this unit, you will provide services such as chemotherapy/biotherapy drug administration, pre/post-surgical care, hospice and palliative care, and sickle cell management.
