Key Qualifications:

• Current teaching certification appropriate for General Education instruction
• Experience teaching in a K-12 environment, with preference for work in gifted education
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction
• Ability to inspire, challenge, and support students with advanced academic needs
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and connect with families
• Flexible mindset and eagerness to adapt to new educational methods and curriculum changes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement curriculum tailored to gifted and talented students
• Assess student progress using formal and informal methods, adjusting approaches as needed
• Encourage creative and critical thinking in student projects and classroom dialogue
• Facilitate individualized and small-group learning opportunities
• Maintain clear and positive communication with students, parents, and staff
• Participate in school meetings, ongoing professional development, and special projects as assigned
