Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gainesville, GA. This role involves evaluating and treating children with speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as swallowing and feeding concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting standardized assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with caregivers and other therapy disciplines (OT, PT, ABA) to support coordinated care. The Speech Language Pathologist will also provide caregiver education, participate in team meetings, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Speech Therapy and Speech interventions, with experience in pediatric settings. Skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders, including articulation, fluency, and voice conditions. Experience working with Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language delays and disorders. Knowledge and clinical skills in managing Dysphagia and related feeding and swallowing challenges. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Georgia. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain it, along with adherence to ASHA ethical and professional standards. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
