Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Hybrid (Scottsdale, AZ) | Direct Hire | $75,000–$80,000 Our client, a growing healthcare organization headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, is hiring a Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This is a newly created role that brings together accounts payable, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and prepaid expense management under one seat: a great opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure across the accounting function rather than a narrow, single-function role. This position reports directly to the VP, Controller, with support and guidance available whenever needed; the right candidate will be comfortable managing their own workload day to day with a high degree of independence. What You’ll Do: Manage accounts payable processes including invoice processing, expense reimbursements, and vendor relations Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, researching reconciling items as needed Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close activities, including journal entries Maintain fixed asset records and manage prepaid expense schedules Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements Support multi-entity, multi-location operations What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred) 1–3 years of accounting experience Experience working in a professional accounting software platform (any system; no specific platform required) A self-directed, autonomous working style with strong follow-through Strong organizational skills and attention to detail A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to take ownership: this matters more than any single technical box checked Strong communication skills and comfort working with a fully remote team The Details: Location: Hybrid; work from home with occasional in-office presence required at the office in Scottsdale, AZ Schedule: Flexible start time between 7:00–9:00 AM, standard 8-hour workday Compensation: $75,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience Type: Direct hire, full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr Renaissance Personnel Group
