Electrical Inspector Per Diem - Plainsboro Township.
$47 - $58 per hourNJLM
Part-time for up to 20 hours per week, weekdays only (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), with some schedule flexibility. Under the direction of the Director of Code Enforcement/Construction Official, the Inspector conducts scheduled daily inspections; prepares inspection reports, cites violations and performs follow-up; responds to complaints; confers with the Electrical Subcode Official on plan conformance with the UCC and Township ordinances; and keeps the supervisor informed. Requires valid UCC Electrical Inspector license (multiple licenses a plus), valid NJ driver's license, and 1-3 years' experience in code enforcement, inspection, repair, maintenance and/or construction. Must attend required training to maintain State certification. Hourly rate $47.00-$58.00, commensurate with experience, certifications and education.
