Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, with the possibility of 1:6
• Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a separate monitoring unit
• Utilize CNA support staff; CNAs maintain ratios of approximately 1:8–1:10 and may serve as sitters
• Float as needed to all acute care areas, cardiology (for medical patients), or the EC for acute care patient holds
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech EMR
• Adhere to unit dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification required (AHA only)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (as reflected on a valid driver's license) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred but not required
• Comfort with floating to various acute care and cardiology settings
• Experience working with telemetry patients
