An exciting opportunity to join our creative, energetic, dedicated team of professionals! American Training, a non-profit Human Service agency, is seeking a full-time Licensed BCBA . In this role you will be responsible for Functional Behavioral Assessments, data review/analysis and the writing of behavior and safety plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing Functional behavior assessments.
- Writing behavior and safety plans.
- Analysis of data.
- Training of staff on behavior plans and data collection.
- Providing Trauma-Informed Care Training.
Skills needed:
- Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services and Human Rights regulations.
- Exceptionally strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to write effective behavior management plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Good community relations skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:- Currently licensed in Massachusetts as a BCBA.
- Three years’ experience working in the field of mental health and developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver's license required and use of personal vehicle.
- Satisfactory CORI and background check.
- Flexibility to work in Residential Homes.
Physical and emotional effort:
- Frequent walking, moderate standing and driving.
- Work environment frequently hectic, fast-paced with periods of high stress.
- Must be able to calmly and analytically respond to crisis and/or crisis situations.
- Must be able to appropriately intervene in medical, psychiatric and behavioral crises.
