GVI, Inc.seeks aEngineering Technician IIto provideConfiguration Managementand technical supporton behalf of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport inKeyport, Washington. Position Responsibilities: Receiving Materials: Receive email notification or phone call about impending shipment of equipment. Stage area for receipt of materials. Receive pallets and/or cabinets of miscellaneous Sonar Equipment. Transport materials from shipping dock to staged area. Unpack, breakdown, and sort pallets of the received materials. Ensure that the shipping manifest matches the materials received. Conduct security checks on received material, label material with appropriate security markers as checks are completed. Inspect components: Inspect cabinets and compare them to paperwork in order to determine if unit is to be broken down to individual components. Testing of Materials: Performing in-house testing of components or materials in accordance with appropriate procedures. Provide completed documentation for tested components or materials Labeling and/or tagging components or materials as required. Wrapping and packing said components or materials as required. Maintain confidential and secret inventory of drawings and change documents. Position Requirements: Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Position is located in Keyport, WA.
