Bilingual HR Generalist
A well-established manufacturing organization in the Deep River area is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This is a hands-on, highly visible role supporting day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced environment.

$62,500-$72,800 annually depending on experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees with a high level of accuracy
- Review timecards, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with wage & hour regulations
- Support employee relations, including documentation, policy guidance, and issue escalation
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding, from job postings through new hire setup
- Administer benefits, leave programs (FMLA, CT Paid Leave, Workers’ Comp), and employee changes
- Maintain accurate HR records and support compliance, audits, and reporting
- Partner with supervisors and leadership to support day-to-day HR needs
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and safety programs
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment
- Strong payroll experience with a high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of FLSA and wage & hour laws
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); HRIS experience required
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ADP
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Bilingual Spanish
