Anderson Dairy Inc. is a long-standing and respected company in the Las Vegas community. We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team and become part of the Anderson family. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of our commercial fleet, including trucks, tractors, refrigerated trailers, and dry trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and quality repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, reefers, and tankers
- Conduct major and minor repairs on Thermo King and Carrier transport refrigeration units
- Use diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot vehicle components
- Complete general truck and trailer repairs, including:
- Differentials, brakes, suspension, and steering
- Tire replacement
- Lights, hoses, belts, batteries, and electrical systems
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and repair documentation on work orders
✅ Qualifications
- 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience (or equivalent mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn)
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of shop equipment and safe work practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a positive, solution-focused attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and rotating on-call shifts
- Ability to work in uncontrolled outdoor environments
