Surgical Technician - Certified

Lake Surgical Hospital

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the safe transport of patients and the correct handling/transport of blood products, specimens, X-rays, equipment and supplies, a clean surgical environment and other patient care related duties in the OR suite. Also responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies within the surgical suites. Graduation from an Accredited Surgical Technology institute.

REQUIREMENTS

Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred within 120 days of hire or equivalent experience in lieu of CST certification.
BLS certification required.
