Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist supporting students in the beautiful North Florida panhandle region. This on-site position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering the chance to impact students across multiple school sites from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. You will work primarily with elementary-aged children, forming connections and fostering growth in a dynamic educational environment.

Your role will involve providing direct physical therapy services, evaluations, and collaborating closely with educators, families, and related service teams. The position is itinerant, traveling between locations each week (22.5 hours per week, with 7.5-hour shifts per day).

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy (elementary focus preferred)
• Comfortable working with students a variety of ages and abilities
• Up-to-date fingerprint clearance (or eligibility for rapid clearance if previously fingerprinted in FL schools/AHCA Clearinghouse)
• Ability to fulfill onsite-only responsibilities—this is not a virtual or remote opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Perform thorough assessments and complete required documentation for a caseload of approximately 40 students
• Consult and collaborate with teachers and parents to support educational objectives
• Travel to assigned school locations within the district as needed
• Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and district requirements
