Job Description As a Security Officer Experienced Driver Patrol in Naperville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports as required by site policy. Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
