Role Description The Sales Leader is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for driving new business growth in commercial insurance and employee benefits, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. The Sales Leader will develop and execute sales strategies, lead prospecting and outreach efforts, conduct needs assessments, and deliver tailored insurance solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring sales team members, monitoring performance metrics, collaborating with internal teams on proposals and renewals, and ensuring a high standard of client service. The role also involves staying current with market trends, carrier offerings, and regulatory changes to support consultative selling and long-term client partnerships. Qualifications Proven experience in insurance or financial services sales, with a focus on commercial lines and/or employee benefits. Demonstrated leadership skills, including team coaching, performance management, and talent development. Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with business clients and stakeholders. Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans, analyze pipelines, and use CRM and sales tools effectively. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and follow-through. Familiarity with insurance carriers, underwriting processes, and regulatory considerations is highly beneficial. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing time effectively between office and remote work.
