Operations Associate

Our client is seeking an Operations Associate to oversee trading support, cash management, and account maintenance for high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and accountable, with a strong eye for detail and follow-through. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Operations Associate's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review upcoming distributions, systematic withdrawals, and fees to confirm sufficient liquidity
• Execute authorized trades and rebalances through approved trading and custodial systems
• Process money movement, including ACH, wires, journals, checks, and systematic distributions
• Support ACAT transfers and resolve delays, rejected requests, or missing information
• Monitor portfolios for drift, restrictions, failed trades, and other exceptions, escalating items for review
• Maintain accurate records across Salesforce, Orion, Eclipse, and custodial platforms

Operations Associate's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in wealth management operations, trading support, or a similar role
• Experience with Orion highly preferred
• Experience working with advisors and custodians such as Goldman Sachs, Schwab, and Fidelity preferred
• Working knowledge of trade settlement, cash management, and brokerage account maintenance
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks and deadlines
• Series 7 preferred; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
