Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12 Hour Nights)

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact)
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Active NIHSS certification
- Must be competent with cardiac medications (e.g. Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) and have knowledge of titration and application of these medications
- Must be competent in telemetry and possess knowledge of heart rhythms
- Must possess critical thinking skills, be able to recognize changes in patient status and intervene
- Must possess knowledge of signs/symptoms of stroke and intervene as necessary

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Utilize age-specific criteria for care delivery
- Teach and direct non-RN staff as needed
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
