Receiving Supervisor

Description The Receiving Supervisor has a very important role in ensuring product integrity of seed received at the plant. Other essential job functions may include but not limited to: Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company Quality Management System Verifying hilum purity, moisture content, contaminants and mechanical damage by performing a soak test on every truck load of seed received prior to unloading Thorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrity Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment Ensure product integrity by avoiding variety mixtures in receiving bins Assist in coordinating seed arrival from on-farm storage. This may require communication directly with growers via phone/text. Assists the Conditioning Supervisor and Conditioning Operator in the conditioning tower as needed May supervise other employees in the receiving area Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area Requirements Reliability Ability to perform tasks safely Compliance with location policies and procedures Ability to perform physical labor, Lift greater than 50lbs Forklift experience preferred Ability to pass a drug test and background check Knowledge of routine and preventative maintenance preferred Communication skills and experience preferred Benefits We offer competitive benefits, including PTO, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, and ongoing learning opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
