We are a g local distributor committed to providing quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to manage inventory procurement and build strong supplier relationships.

** Responsibilities **

• Purchase inventory, supplies, and materials based on company needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
• Research and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Create and manage purchase orders.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and inventory data.
• Work closely with warehouse, sales, and accounting teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.

** Qualifications **

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

** Preferred Qualifications **

• Experience in wholesale or distribution, preferred but not needed.
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory control principles, preferred but not needed.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Will train the right Candidate!
