SUMMARY
The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.The Accounting & Payroll Administrator is a key support role responsible for coordinating day-to-day accounting, payroll, and office administration functions. This position ensures the smooth operation of financial processes and office activities, while supporting leadership with accurate reporting, organization, and administrative efficiency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting & Finance Support
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice entry, coding, and payment coordination
Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely completion
Assist with purchase order processing
Support data entry and maintenance within ERP systems for expense reporting and financial tracking
Maintain accurate financial records and organized filing systems
Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting as required
Payroll HR Support
Assist with payroll processing, including reviewing employee timecards and maintaining accurate records in HRIS/payroll systems
Maintain employee payroll information, including deductions, benefits, and updates
Ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations and company policies
Support employee onboarding, including orientation coordination and administrative setup
Assist with benefits administration and related employee support
Office Administration
Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment
Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
Maintain organized office records, files, and documentation
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and provide administrative support to leadership
Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as needed
Support senior management with administrative tasks and special projects
Coordinate travel arrangements, conference registrations, and company events
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree or experience in related field
3+ years of experience in accounting, and human resources
Previous office management or administrative experience
Experience with ERP systems preferred
Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management software.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
