Operations Analyst

In this role, you'll leverage data analytics, reporting, and system expertise to identify improvements and enhance operational performance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to streamline processes and strengthen the member experience. Location – East Hartford, CT Hybrid

Hours – Fulltime

Compensation – $65,000-$81,000 (depending on experience, education, aptitude & equity)

Key Responsibilities

1. Core system release oversight and testing
2. New product development, programming, and implementation
3. Create promotional product parameters, complete programming, and testing prior to launch
4. Rate changes, exceptions, and interest calculation quality reviews
5. Core system application management and enhancements
6. Vendor end-to-end case management and issue resolution
7. Collaborate on projects for core system integration, workflows, and capturing data
8. Instant issue software updates and release testing

1. In an effort to assist in strategic decisions, participate in industry-related conferences and user groups in order to bring back relevant knowledge, future initiatives, and advances in innovative technology.
2. Management and strong working knowledge of the following systems:

• Core operating system
• Card processing systems
• BI analytics
• Tableau reporting

1. Application administrator for deposit and card programs
2. Serve as liaison with the BI team and application support to create and provide BI and Tableau reporting and data analytics as required
3. Oversight of daily file transmissions, documenting process flows, and timeline adherence

1. Statement rendering – deposits and card products
2. Creation and updates to member agreements and disclosures
3. Partner with compliance to maintain oversight of regulatory and industry changes
4. Collaboration with key card and deposit resources to research complex member issues, coordinate release testing, product changes, system issues, promotional announcements, and general outreach to the front-line teams.
5. Quality control for audits, interdepartmental procedures, and OLB upgrades/enhancements
6. Escheat and IRA RMD processing
7. EOY tax form distribution and OLB electronic form management
8. Identifying, testing, and implementing process improvements and cross-departmental efficiencies
9. ATM programming and updates

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in business or finance; and five or more years of credit union deposit and card operations, or equivalent combination of appropriate education and experience. While this level of expertise will generally be attained with a minimum of 5 years in a previous deposit and card operations role and a bachelor's degree, priority will be placed upon the demonstration of the ability to meet qualifications without an absolute focus on duration of experience, in recognition that the attainment of such qualifications may be obtained at different paces by different individuals.
