Reinsurance Business Analyst

Role description Job Title: Senior Specialist - Business Analysis Qualifications:
- The analyst should have prior knowledge and experience with preferably reinsurance actuarial reserving reporting processes and would be able to quickly understand firms calculations data and processes
- Analyze existing mostly Excel SQL actuarial reports measures and instruct developers on how to replace these reports within our Segment Data Warehouse. This may include:
- Clarification on key calculations and analysis of the underlying data
- In some circumstances development of requirements documentation and acceptance criteria
- Perform Quality Assurance QA testing to validate that new reports measures meet requirements. This may include:
- Validation that the data the report produces matches the expected results
- Assistance with troubleshooting issues through data analysis
- Coordinate and own User Testing and Signoff
- Responsible for coordination of acceptance testing through signoff
