What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate drilling equipment to support underground quarry production activities.

• Perform drilling operations according to mine plans, production targets, and safety requirements.

• Conduct pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment.

• Identify and communicate equipment, ground, or safety concerns to supervisors and team members.

• Collaborate with quarry personnel to support efficient and productive underground operations.

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate drilling or heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, quarrying, construction, or similar environment.

• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and compliance with operating procedures.

• Mechanical aptitude with the capability to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.

• Ability to read and follow mine plans, work instructions, and safety requirements.

• Dependable work ethic with the ability to adapt to changing operational needs and priorities.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

• $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential.
