Shipping & ReceivingLocation: McCook, IL 60525Pay Rate: $18.00/hrShift: 1st shiftJob Duties/Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and condition of goods.Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation to meet shipping standards and requirements.Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts using inventory management systems.Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required.Ensure proper storage and organization of goods within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies.Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock audits as needed.Qualifications & Requirements:Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including handling documentation such as invoices, packing slips, and bills of lading.Proficiency in inventory management software or related systems.Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification may be required depending on the workplace.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipments and inventory records.Basic computer skills for data entry and communication purposes.Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as part of daily responsibilities.Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.Willingness to adhere to safety standards and company policies.
