Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.

Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed, providing support in all units.

Train and orientate students and new hires when required.

Ensure documentation is accurately completed in the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy with acute care experience.

Level 2 Trauma experience is required; Level 3 NICU experience preferred.

Travel experience is a must.

Valid CT state license and certifications in BLS and CRT or RRT are required.

Experience with Draeger Vent equipment is mandatory.

Effective communication and patient interaction skills are essential.
