Commercial Glazing Lead

Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Location: Projects throughout the Denver Metro area (Boulder to Castle Rock)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Glazing Lead to join a growing team specializing in commercial new construction projects throughout the Denver Metro area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong glazing or carpentry experience who can manage crews, interpret blueprints, and ensure quality installations from start to finish.

Projects include storefront systems, commercial windows, storefront doors, peaked glass systems, and curtain wall installations on a variety of small to mid-sized commercial construction projects.

• Lead and supervise crews of 2-5 employees on commercial glazing projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Layout work and direct crews to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Prepare openings and install frames, anchors, and support systems for glass installation.
• Review project requirements and coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower needed for successful installation.
• Operate or coordinate the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and glass manipulators.
• Assist with caulking, finishing work, and jobsite cleanup as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop practical, solution-oriented approaches in the field.

• 5+ years of commercial glazing experience required.
• Previous experience leading and managing field crews.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience laying out work and directing crews on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with installation equipment and tools.
• Experience with storefront systems, curtain walls, commercial windows, and doors preferred.
• Carpentry experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce City, CO.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
