In return, we want you to be hands-on, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities may include:Material Handling & Forklift Operation:Operate the forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility.Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area.Conduct inspection of the forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.Loading and Unloading:Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using the forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.Lift and carry up to 65lbsPush items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.Pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feetSafety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work areaWear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment dailyReport any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.Skills to Succeed in the RoleAccountability, Active Listening, Computer Literacy, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Interpersonal, Managerial Confidence, Mathematic Literacy, Time Management, Verbal Communication, Written CommunicationWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are committed to developing a diverse workforce in which everyone is treated fairly, with respect, and has the opportunity to contribute to business success while realizing his or her potential.
