DevSecOps Platform Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• We require at least 5 years of experience in software systems development and administration.
• We need hands-on proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and/or AWS CloudFormation templates.
• We require experience provisioning and configuring cloud service provider environments, including GCP, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
• We require experience deploying and configuring CSP SaaS services such as API gateways and SaaS databases.
• We need familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python or Bourne shell.
• We require experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab.
• We require proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
• We require experience securing software through code scanning and container scanning.
• Preferred experience includes MLOps, including building and deploying machine learning models.
• Preferred knowledge includes generative AI technologies.
• Preferred experience includes SaaS AI tools such as AWS SageMaker.
• Preferred experience includes network configuration and administration.
• Preferred understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
• Preferred experience with the Sponsors primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.
• We require an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.

• We develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and/or AWS CloudFormation templates.
• We provision and configure cloud service provider systems, including GCP, Microsoft Azure, and AWS, to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• We develop, test, and maintain containerized applications in support of system accreditation efforts.
• We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise with hundreds of applications using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
• We implement DevSecOps practices and manage source version control as well as build and release tooling.
• We support the software build process and help ensure all systems meet security-first requirements.
• We maintain system baselines and configuration management items, including security event monitoring policies for automated pipelines.
• We recommend and, when approved, implement process and policy improvements to enhance pipeline efficiency and security.
• We occasionally move within the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, and related resources.
• We communicate frequently with coworkers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
