Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor – 1st ShiftLocation: Indianapolis, IN Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Shift: 1st Shift / Day Shift Pay: $25–$30/hour, based on experience Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a temp-to-hire opportunity with an established industrial company in Indianapolis, IN. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily workflow, supporting and coaching employees, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and serving as a key connection between production employees and management. Responsibilities: Oversee daily workflow and production activities within the department Lead, coach, train, and support production employees Communicate goals, expectations, deadlines, and important information to employees Serve a liaison between production employees and upper management Organize workflow and delegate responsibilities to ensure production needs are met Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and ensure employees follow established safety procedures Ensure 5S standards are established and consistently followed Address employee concerns and help resolve day‑to‑day issues Prepare and submit performance reports Provide input regarding employee performance, recognition, and promotions Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Assist with disciplinary actions when necessary Hire and train new employees Maintain timekeeping and personnel records Support continuous improvement efforts through Lean practices Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience required Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, steel, metal processing, or similar industrial environment strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred, but not required Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) fundamentals Strong safety awareness and ability to address employee safety concerns Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑up skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong attention to detail with accurate reporting and documentation Dependable, professional, and comfortable providing hands‑on leadership on the production floor What We Offer: $25–$30/hour based on experience Weekly pay Benefits available Full-time, 1st shift opportunity Temp-to-hire with the intention of transitioning to direct employment after a brief temporary period Long‑term opportunity with an established Indianapolis employer Hands‑on leadership role with the opportunity to make an immediate impact #clerical #J-18808-Ljbffr
