Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $3450 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health.

Additional Details:

If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.

Required Credentials: - Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred. - Previous work in Children’s only hospital preferred.

Unit Details: - Provides respiratory therapy services for all appropriate age levels in all areas served by the department. - Administers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff. - Records treatment information and patient treatment response in the computerized medical record. - Acts as a resource person to medical staff. - Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients. - Ensures that respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained. - Maintains necessary respiratory therapy records. - Performs as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests.
