Registered Nurse Hospice

$1958.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive end-of-life care within the Walla Walla community. The role involves managing a caseload of patients, performing a variety of nursing visits, and ensuring timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards. Responsibilities: Manage a patient caseload of 15 with 4-5 visits daily, depending on patient acuity and geographic area. Perform all service-level nursing visits including routine, GIP, continuous, and respite care. Conduct admission, SIA, and death visits with compassionate, patient-centered approach. Complete same-day charting to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care. Maintain compliance with state licensure, vaccination, background checks, and auto insurance requirements. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members and float to Oregon sites as needed, applying for licensure upon contract acceptance. Qualifications: Possess a minimum of 1 year of current hospice case management experience. Hold an active Washington or Compact RN license; Oregon licensure encouraged. Demonstrate active AHA BLS certification. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle to cover service radius. Willing to perform all levels of hospice nursing and documentation.
