Freelance Senior Motion Graphics Designer (2D) We are looking for a Senior 2D Motion Specialist to bring fresh, narrative-driven animation and a sharp editorial eye to upcoming client initiatives. This contract role suits a self-directed artist who takes complete ownership of deliverables, thrives on aesthetic experimentation, and handles complex creative challenges with minimal oversight. Core ResponsibilitiesFocus Area Key Tasks Concept & Production Direct and build original styleframes, storyboards, kinetic tests, and final 2D render sequences alongside our creative leadership. System Building Assemble robust motion design guidelines, modular toolkits, and template assets for distributed team use. Project Leadership Guide contract talent and junior animators, offering concise visual feedback to keep outputs aligned with project goals. Client Interaction Pitch visual directions directly to stakeholders, brand teams, and external agency partners. Quality Control Perform final technical checks on all exported media to verify exact delivery specifications and elevated visual quality. Qualifications & Skillset Portfolio: Extensive reel demonstrating range across high-end commercial animation and layout. Experience: 5 to 8+ years focused in professional 2D motion design, with demonstrated work in luxury, fashion, consumer tech, or culture-focused campaigns. Software: Expert command of Adobe After Effects and Creative Cloud (character rigging and animation capabilities preferred). Workflow: Proven capacity to self-manage, handle parallel project tracks, and meet strict production deadlines. Industry Awareness: Sharp understanding of emerging visual culture, experiential media, and modern brand systems.
