Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 20 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments are required during orientation, with acceptable scores necessary. Description: Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Tele specialty. Must have potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Shifts may vary based on operational needs. Candidates should have substantial experience to qualify. One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Background checks and licensure verification are necessary for compliance. Candidates must be nicotine-free, except for exempt roles. Annual modules and competency requirements will apply for continuous contracts. Candidates who do not fulfill requirements may be removed from the schedule. This role involves caring for patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential in providing quality patient care.
