About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for qualification. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for winter coverage. This position requires minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience. Candidates must have an active Ohio or compact license prior to submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. NIHSS certification is preferred. One reference from a managerial position in the relevant specialty is a requirement. References must be from assignments worked in the past twelve months. Candidates with background checks or license issues may not be considered. Travelers must be nicotine-free, and a negative 10-panel drug screen is required within twelve months of start. Travelers have two attempts to pass the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required six-month break before returning. Modules will be required pre-start and annually and will be billable for a limited amount of time.
