About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks (13 weeks also accepted) Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience License: Must have a valid Ohio license or a compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start) Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for Description: This position requires the provision of winter coverage. All information regarding start dates, scheduling, and shift details must be accurate and confirmed at the time of submission. All requirements listed are non-negotiable. Offer will be made automatically to qualified candidates. Multiple shift options available: 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12. Additional details about required experience include having a minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience prior to beginning travel assignments. Compliance with specific certification requirements at the time of submission is mandatory. Recent references must not be from co-workers and only from the last 12 months will be considered. Successful completion of assessments during orientation is required. Travelers may be subject to background checks and must comply with specific health requirements. Additional guidelines regarding reapplication and assignment extensions will apply. Failure to meet any requirements may result in disqualification from the position. Modules and assessments will be necessary prior to starting the contract. Time spent on required training modules may impact billable hours. This position may require travelers to be nicotine-free based on the facility's policies.
