Title: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Position Type: Non‑Teaching Certified Support Location: Woodland Elementary School, Districtwide Date Available: August 17, 2026 (plus New Staff Orientation August 6‑12, 2026) Closing Date: May 30, 2026 Qualifications Certification: Valid Illinois state license in special education, social work or psychology; certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Education: Master’s Degree in education, psychology or related discipline. Experience: Required – Minimum 5 years as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Preferred – Classroom teaching experience, social work or psychology. Essential Performance Responsibilities Support staff in identifying and addressing problem behaviors. Provide ongoing professional development on behavior strategies to all staff. Model behavior intervention techniques and provide coaching to staff. Other Performance Responsibilities Assist in other areas as needed. Complete other duties as assigned. Provide ongoing professional development to staff and administration. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Collaborate with building and district staff to promote positive student behavior through professional development. Expertise in data collection and behavior analysis. Assist case managers, psychologists and social workers in writing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior intervention plans. Demonstrate behavior management ideas and techniques. Provide training on data collection, positive behavior supports, and instructional methodologies. Support staff working with children with autism on skill deficits, maintenance, self‑help and social skills. Develop materials and resources for administrators, educators, paraprofessionals and parents/guardians. Attend IEP, eligibility or other meetings to provide related behavioral information. Work with students exhibiting maladaptive behaviors and support staff learning. Travel to school sites for observations, assessments and recommendations. Engage parents in creating behavior programs and empower them with skills. Participate in building‑level PST, PBIS, RTL meetings as appropriate. Technical Able to work with district technology systems, including ESPED, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Interpersonal Excellent communication, collaboration, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills. Ability to build harmonious relationships with staff, students and parents.
