Metal Production Operator
We are seeking a Metal Production Operator to join a manufacturing team. This position involves setting up, operating, and adjusting machinery used in metal tubing production and processing. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate metal processing equipment, including straightening, grinding, and tube forming machines.
Perform manual machine adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
Load, feed, and unload metal tubing and coils throughout the production process.
Monitor multiple machines simultaneously to ensure consistent operation.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments independently.
Follow work orders, production schedules, and documentation procedures.
Safely handle materials and operate equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform repetitive lifting and material handling of up to 50 lbs.
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Experience with manual machine setups and adjustments preferred.
Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple machines, and meet production deadlines.
Comfortable performing physically demanding work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Experience with metal processing, grinding, or tube manufacturing is a plus.
Additional Information:
This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving manual equipment operation, physical material handling, and exposure to industrial lubricants. No CNC programming or operation is required.
