Embrace an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students as a School Psychologist working within a supportive educational environment. This in-person contract role offers meaningful work with the Child Find Evaluation Team at the elementary and district level, allowing you to apply your expertise in student assessments and support services.
We are currently seeking two skilled and dedicated professionals for Evaluation Team Psychologist positions, each assigned to a single site. Enjoy the fulfillment of working directly with students, alongside collaborative teams committed to student success and early intervention.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License (SSL) with a School Psychologist endorsement (ages 0-21)
- Experience in conducting student evaluations and collaborating with Child Find teams
- Bilingual candidates or those experienced in bilingual evaluations, as well as bilingual Early Childhood Special Education teachers, are encouraged to apply for our district-level evaluation team
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering positive student outcomes across early childhood and elementary populations
- Ability to complete required district contractor packet prior to assignment start date
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Child Find evaluations at designated locations, primarily North Star Elementary, with potential support at additional evaluation sites
- Perform in-depth assessments for students ages 0-21, contributing to multidisciplinary teams and eligibility determinations
- Deliver services in a fully on-site setting; remote/hybrid options are not available
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and school-based teams to support student learning and growth
