Mechanical Engineer

[About the Role]
Join our dynamic engineering team in Fremont, CA, as a Mechanical Engineer focused on the design, development, and validation of advanced semiconductor and wafer handling equipment. This is a full-time opportunity to work at the forefront of automation technology, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and building products critical to the global semiconductor industry.
- Create and refine assembly and mechanism designs for complex systems
- Lead prototype builds and validation processes
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), releases, and documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Electrical, Firmware, and System Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration
- Provide hands-on support to manufacturing and suppliers, ensuring design intent and quality are met
- Apply manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, machining, and casting
- Implement engineering changes via ECR/ECO procedures using industry-standard tools [Required Skills and Experience] - Proficiency with Creo or AutoCAD for 3D modeling and detail design
- Experience using PDM/PLM systems such as Agile, Windchill, or Team Center
- Solid understanding of BOM management and engineering documentation
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, machining, and casting
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional settings
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field [Preferred Skills] - Experience with semiconductor equipment, wafer handling systems (Load Ports, EFEM), or automation equipment
